In celebration of the 40th anniversary, Hillcrest Hospital is creating a time capsule to bury within the new expansion.  We will share who and what we are to those who will follow us in the future.

About the Time Capsule

The hospital’s time capsule is currently being custom made by Time Capsules Inc. In size, the capsule is a 2 ½ ft. cube made of 3/16 steel (similar to the thickness used in vaults). Time Capsules Inc. takes great care in creating the best container that can sustain the wear of time.

The Expanding Excellence logo will be engraved on the front of the container. The time capsule can last 500+ years but will be “unearthed” from its resting place in 2068 during Hillcrest’s centennial year. For more information about the time capsule, check out the Time Capsules Inc. website.

Becoming Involved

The time capsule is a community project and the contents will be made up of contributions from various members of the Hillcrest community. All employees, physicians, volunteers and members of the Auxiliary are welcome to submit items. For more details and guidelines, download the time capsule flyer.
